Pool Ripple Dance #2
Pool Ripple Dance #2. A 33-second mandalavideo of ripples in a swimming pool in San Vito, Costa Rica. Music is an excerpt from Recuerdos de la Alhambra by Francisco Tarrega, performed by classical guitarist Pepe Romero from the album The Art of Pepe Romero. The water imagery of the mandalavideo evoked for me a memory–recuerdo–of my visit to the incomparable Alhambra in Grenada, Spain, with all its pools and fountains.
Note. This is another mandalavideo in an occasional series exploring motion and moving patterns by applying the same quadrilateral symmetry to video as to the still photographs of my mandalagraphs.
