Galleries & Search

I have assigned each photo mandala/mandalagraph to a general thematic “category”. Some of the mandalas are in multiple categories. The following categories are deliberately rather broad, with my starting point the “animal, vegetable, mineral” categories of the game of “20 questions” that my family used to play in the car when I was a kid. (Since starting to add the occasional mandalavideo, there are two very broad categories–mandalagraph and mandalavideo–to make it easier to search for mandalavideos. (Note: since the vast majority of posts going back to the beginning  of this blog are mandalagraphs, only those mandalagraphs posted in 2015 and beyond will have the mandalagraph tag, so it will be more useful to search for mandalagraphs by other categories.) The category “Composite” flags the occasional mandalagraph that is composed of two or more separate mandalagraphs, or a mandalagraph with a bilateral “mirror” image, merged into one.

If you’d like to see mandalagraphs of a particular category, the easiest way is to use the Search Categories of Mandalagraphs” function at the bottom of the page. By clicking on one of the categories in the drop-down menu, you’ll be taken to a page of thumbnail images of all the mandalagraphs currently in that category. Simply click on a thumbnail to open the post for that mandalagraph and its full-sized image.

You can also enter a search term in the “Search Mandalagraphs.com” window just above the “Search Categories of Mandalagraphs” window, and if any of the mandalagraphs have been tagged or described with the term, you will get the results on a new page. But this process can be pretty hit or miss…!

Below are links to some Galleries of my favorite mandalagraphs chosen to be a sampler of images from serveral  “categories”. Once the Gallery page opens, you can click on any of the thumbnail photos in the Gallery to open the full-sized image within a slide show format.
